gasoline prices
for me, it is a worry of the past…
lately, one of my favorite games to play is ’see how far i can go on one tank of gas.’ this game is great fun and let me tell you, i am in the midst of a record here. i filled up my tank exactly two weeks ago today. i drive my car to work about five times per week, and on the other two days, i run errands and find things to do around town. today i took a snapshot of my meters in my dashboard and take a look for youself:

if it is too small to read: i have driven 75 miles since i last filled up, and my gas meter reads ‘full’ … still. my commute to work is so short that i use up virtually no gas driving to and from. it is one of the greatest feelings knowing that i only have to fill up my gas tank once every 4 or 5 weeks! and not only that, my tank is so small that it only costs about $27 to fill it up from empty to full!
even though my little civic is old, it does me well and saves me money every month. in my case it is exceedingly true that the cheapest car to own is the one you already have…
