new shelves!

our recent purchase from ikea. yay! i now have such a nice view from the computer desk, instead of stacks of books all along the floor- who knew we had so many books between the two of us? next purchase…a futon against the right wall, for those of you who want to come visit; yes please come!

we had a great time in atlanta on saturday, but a very quick time. we were going through our stops so quickly that we decided to just bag our hotel reservation and drive home that night (we thought it might be kind of nice to save some dough since we were spending so much). wil and i really enjoyed the day though…after an early rise we hit the road. we shopped at all my favorite stores: ikea, crate&barrel, and cost plus world market. it was hard to walk around the stores and limit myself to only the amount of money on our gift cards!

another thing i was so glad to do was stop by the high museum of art. as much as i love art, i really just wanted to see the building, designed by a recent favorite architect: richard meier. we were able to walk all over the grounds and take lots of pictures (in our photo album) in between our shopping. it was awesome to be able to actually see a building in real life, whereas most of my opinions of architecture is based off of books and photos.

after our car was filled with gas and goodies we made our way back to franklin. we got home so quickly that wil had time to set up the shelves, while i put together some lamps and a table. i love making this condo our home!
