I’M MARRIED!!!!
Woohoo!!!
check out my photos to see wedding pictures!
well, not the real ones, but my sister (moh and already married) took it into her own hands to carry a polaroid camera around the reception and snap important photos, to carry us over till the actual ones are developed.
as retro as it seemed, these are probably one of my favorite “gifts” so far!

i realize it’s been quite some time since the last post, but i also realized that of the total of 4 readers of this site, i have been with 3 of you for the past week or so. why bother posting about something we’ve all been experiencing? well lucky for you, the single reader that’s left, this one’s all for you. a lot has happened, but unfortunately, not much blogworthy stuff has occurred. i will update anyways.
i am getting married in one week!!!! by next sunday, this crazy wedding planning ride will have ended and i will be wil’s wife. oh it’s so exciting; yes, for those of you acquaintances who often ask if i am excited…of course i am! who wouldn’t be! not only am i getting married, but i am marrying the greatest man ever.
with a wedding comes tons of planning. it’s been nonstop, but good. we’ve accomplished a lot, and there is still a lot to do as we approach the day. but my mom and i keep looking at one another thinking, “huh, we actually have a handle on this! are we missing something major?”
well, wil and i saw a few of our favorite shows say sayonara till next fall. here are my thoughts on our favorites…the office: i can’t believe jim had the guts to do that!!! can’t wait till i can watch a whole season next fall as wil and i only discovered the office a few months ago. survivor: so, terry is an animal and ought to have been in the final two, but hey, danielle did what she did. unfortunately, aras was my last pick of the final three. grey’s anatomy: love the show overall, but was somewhat disappointed with the finale. a prom in a hospital? meredith and mcdreamy, again? and izzy’s psycho attempt at helping denny? i was actually relieved that denny died…never got into his storyline to begin with.
my sister dena and the two kids arrived yesterday. i forgot how much i love my little munchkins. i can’t wait to see the two others when my brother and his wife come down. i can never get enough of any of them. also, it will be great having dena here the whole week before the wedding to help out, keep me on track, and just be someone girly to giggle with along the way.
well, it’s raining outside. and it’s gray. and dreary. i am worried and nervous about the weather, but i guess i just have to wait it out until it’s closer to the big day…when a storm of a completely different kind rolls in.

hello,
i know i haven’t posted in a week or so, sorry about that. i’ve got a lot going on right now, as you may already know…=D
the wedding is quickly approaching, faster than i ever thought it could. it seems like yesterday that i was in tennessee whining at how it seemed as though it would never arrive. i blinked and … the wedding is TEN DAYS AWAY!!!
here’s what’s going on with everything:
wedding plans:
they are well underway and everything is pretty much planned out. i’m really surprised at how well everything is coming together and how we seem to have covered all bases. we’ve got several schedules for each day and what needs to be done, and schedules of events. it’s great knowing what i need to do and when it needs to be done; it helps me keep tab on myself and helps me budget my time well.
family:
it has been great being able to spend some good, quality time with my family and kristen’s family before the storm. i also will have some time to hang out with my dad, and my groomsmen a bit before all of the wedding activities take place. i am very fortunate to have this time since it will be my last here in town before i permanently live in tennessee or somewhere other than my parent’s house.
kris:
we are still planning on getting married! =D even though it is great to spend so much time with our families, sometimes i just want to be with kristen. so, tomorrow night we are going on a date. we will go out to dinner somewhere, then to see the davinci code, then who knows, maybe just somewhere that we can be together alone. it will be nice to share some romantic time together as our last before the wedding.
weather:
the weather in central oregon has been off and on… as always. we’ve been going through a small heat wave (80s) and are hoping that that weather will last through the wedding, however, it looks like the weather will be in the high sixties and cloudy, or rainy. it is still too early to tell though. the only thing that i worry about is whether or not it will be cold, or rainy; cloudy is fine…and actually better for the photography. please keep the weather in your prayers (i know, it sounds funny); but it would be really great if it stayed warm and dry.
well… that’s about it for now. all i can say is that kristen and i are soooo excited about the wedding and can hardly contain our excitement! keep an eye out for another post or two before the wedding, and many pictures to follow the wedding!

kristen is totally copying me and my website. she is totally taking all of my ideas and making them hers… girls.
actually, i’ve been helping her build her website and teaching her how she can make hers more useful and interesting. if you haven’t had a chance, her website is k.simpleclosure.org
you can also reach her website from the regular old simpleclosure.org.
